It fundamentally removed all the cliches of female directing, with Jane Campion leading all female art directors before hurt locker, now the queen has f***lly arrived.

watched it sa robinsons dati pa. i was also surprised when i saw the name "kathryn" next to director.

weird, during that time i had the feeling it would win something big. and it did. this best director award is as magical as the best pic award.
