Yesterday, i acquired two films. Bad Education (2004) which i watched yesterday, and this, A Taste of Cherry (1997)
Winning the highest award in Cannes Film Festival, the Palme d'Or, last 1997 i was astonished by it's setting. It was crafted by a very talented Iranian director, Abbas Kiarostami. I have never been in Iran, or have seen an Iranian background in a wide screen. Well of course for me it would be my laptop screen, because of my limited space in the dormitory. But the fascination of the setting, the culture of Iran seems to interest me more here than any other element. Iran. I remembered my father mentioning that this country thousands of years ago was the home of the first civilization.
I'll be watching the film this afternoon, my chemistry lab class was canceled.
