There is something about Bernal that fascinates me. He has these eyes to portray a character in an organic and also in the most unexpected way. So i grabbed a copy of La Mala Educacion (Bad Education) and another movie which will be revealed in my next blog.
Here is the trailer of what i am going to watch right now.
Now here is a new thing about this Bernal character. He will portray a transvestite, and this is gonna be a fresh look for the actor. And i am excited with this protrayal after watching Y tu Mama Tambien and A Science of Sleep two months ago, it would be easy to plot a pattern of his performance. This film was nominated Goya's Best Film last 2003, which made it even GRILLED to it's most funadmental element!
ISSUES
a lot of issues on the scenes from the movie were censored by three nations on it's international release after it's premiere at 57th Cannes last 2004. A critical review would follow this blog in three days.
